Planning a daytrip to Blue Mountain......Any Suggestions?

This will be my 5th time in JA, 3rd for my wife and this year we decided to do some exploring. We are going to the Blue Mountain for a day trip and wanted some suggestions what to see and do when we get there.

Did the tour when we stayed in Ocho Rios one year. As mentioned it is a LONG WAY from Negril. Definitely an overnight trip. Check out Blue Mountain Bike Tours.

Glad we did the tour of the Blue Mountains, but even better that we started in Ocho Rios!

It's a 5 hour drive from Negril to Kingston and probably at least another 2 hours to get up into the mountains. So definitely need more than a day.

Sounds as though I should reconsider traveling to the Blue Mountains until i can spend more time. Is it not advisable to try a daytrip?

It is possible, but you would have to leave early morning and wouldn't be home until very late (depends on what you do). Even from Ocho Rios we left before breakfast and didn't get back until after dinner.

no,..i would do it on another trip and plan on spending a few days there ..you could also incorporate Port antonio area in the mix....or ochi...
If you want a day trip i'd go to treasure beach area...
