What does a beer cost in your hometown?
Where I live that's anywhere from a minimum 3.50 to 9.50 depending on the venue.
Same thing happens in any tourist destination.
I do think that some of the prices are a bit inflated in Negril given that the wages are not high; but no matter how much they charge; it's always a bargain compared to where I live.

For Canadians beer/booze is a bargain. Not so much or us americans ,. bar price is great! but retail store price is way to much for local beer and rum , imo . It takes up way too much of my vacation budget !!!! Ackee beer soon come
