Day trip to Treasure Beach?

We are considering a day trip to Treasure Beach. I figure we will drive over, cruise around to see the surroundings (if any), and then have lunch at Jake's. Anyone ever do this? Complete waste of time? The first year we visited, we did YS Falls and Pelican Bar, but looking to get out and see some of Jamaica again, this time. Thoughts? Suggestions?

A couple of months ago a few of us did YS than Treasure Beach for the day. Had killer pizza at Jack Sprat and enjoyed two different beaches. Purchased a sub and was given change back. The place is chill and I look forward to a stay there in the near future.
