    Wedding Lanterns

Has anyone brought paper lanterns to Negril, through customs? I'm bringing a few to a wedding that we are going to, in Negril, but I'm concerned that customs won't allow it. I bought them at a fireworks store, but I dont think they are in the same category. Would they be considered explosives? we are flying from Montreal to MoBay, directly.... dont have to go through the US. Does anyone know?

if they were stored around fireworks they may set off a bomb dog but they dont have any in mobay.

I packed about 30 paper lanterns in my luggage last December and I had no problems with customs. The paper lanterns didn't have anything that was explosive so as long as yours don't either you should have no problems.
