This tunnel is located in the St Elizabeth parish. It was hand dug by the slave's. Many perished during its construction and were put to rest on top of the tunnel.

Those church and tunnel and grave pics - sent shivers down my spine! I'm such a history nut- would love to see this. Where is it exactly?
It is in St Elizabeth. Exact location I can not provide as we were taking to several parishes and on back roads that I wouldnt have a clue how to find. We have a friend that grew up in this area and has family spread out. You will see in the next set of photos (still to come) just how nice the area is. If you head out you will be "deep in country", I doubt that you will find it on a map. These are places that (I will put it how we were told) whitey dosnt come to see. It is sad because the trip and sights were awsome!
