Its a far up the west end next to Moondance Cliffs and Little waters villa. It is very nice and peaceful! Check out the site www.negrilonestop.com and go to cliff hotels. It will show you a little map.
Hide Awhile is located at the end of all the hotels on the West End except Moon Dance Cliffs and Tingalayas. The road splits at Out of Town Pastry (great patties and loaves) you bare to the right and it's a 1/4 mile down. Very mellow area and about a mile walking from SeaStar. I stay at Little Waters Villa 2 doors away and we love it out there and Moon Dance Cliffs is next door. There is almost always a taxi parked across from Out of Town Pastry for an easy ride.
We were staying at Idle Awhile and spent a chunk of a day at Hide Awhile. Very nice, though a bit sparse. The pool is very nice. Quiet. We found ourselves whispering. Limited options for lunch so we hailed a cab and headed back and had lunch at Pushcart before heading back to the beach. We love the beach. The units look great, much like Idle Awhile. Nice staff. Very private. We remain enchanted with the thought of staying on the cliffs but would probably stay less far out. All depends on what you are looking for.
If you are looking for out of the way and total peace and quiet then it's great. The rooms are beautiful and the staff at Idle and Hide Awhile can't be beat.
LOVED it! We stayed there last July, had a 2 story villa. It was EXACTLY what we needed for 4 nights...total peace and relaxation! Since we had a full kitchen we stopped off at Hi-Lo and bought a case of water, coffee, rum,RS, juice, munchies etc. Every morning we walked to Out of town pastry down the block and got beef patties and a fish loaf for the care taker - I'm soooo bad with namesLoved the fact that we could hang out at their sister place Idle Awhile on the beach and use the sports complex at Couples Swept Away. The food at both properties is very good, on our last day I wanted jerk chicken and the chef at Hide Awhile made us the BEST lunch ever!

TAH, you are correct and I didn't mean to exclude them or Jackies but it will always be "Hog Heaven" to me
