Does anyone remember when there used to be hammocks both covered and uncovered on the beach in front of the Treehouse? The beach at that time was probably twice as wide as it is now and you couldn't see the pool for plants and trees. I'm talking mid to late 80's.

The reason you probably couldnt see the pool for the plants and trees is that the pool was not built until the early 90's... (grin)
I first stayed there in '85 and there was beach and trees in the area where the pool now stands.
And yes, those hammocks were nice... as are the swinging chairs...
Treehouse has always been a wonderful place to stay, and many first timers from the '80s had their first stay at the Treehouse.
