Amsterdam have changed their laws on cannabis, wonder why?
    http://www.ibtimes.com/amsterdam-dro...ourists-858027

No, they have not, actually. A-dam DID NOT follow other parts of the country in banning foreign vistors from their cannabis coffee shops. The law remains unchanged, and people can freely partake of legal herb in A-dam today. I'm not mean, not a girl, and not part of any clique here, but will correct obvious misinformation any time that I see it. If you are going to comment on a nation's laws, maybe you should actually familiarize yourself WITH the law first.

See if Colorado keeps those new laws as is in a few years
How often have you been to Colorado since legalization has taken place? How much of the economic boom have you personally witnessed? There has been no increase in crime, and millions of tax dollars are being funneled to Colorado schools. As a recent attendee of the US Cannabis Cup in Denver, as well as a frequnet visitor to Colorado, I can assure you legalization is going just fine in Colorado, with massive tax revenues and and actual drop in the crime rate since cannabis was legalized. If what I've witnessed is any indication whatsoever, Co won't be turning its back on legalization anytime soon. Its got a firm hold in the state, and they won't simply turn their back on the economic impact of legalized cannabis. Its become a somewhat mainstream industry n Colorado, with even a new banking system set to go into affect to further accommodate the needs of the cannabis industry. Its settled in and put down roots. The federal government has given Co its blessing as well, so there's no fear that the federal govt will be shutting things down either. Yes, we will see if Co's laws remian in effect....my guess is that they will indeed stand the test of time, and will serve as inspiration for other states to do the same. The majority of US citizens, for the fiirst time ever, have come to a consensus that they believe marijuana should be legal. If our government works the way its supposed to and reflects the will of the people, outright legalization in inevitable, and cannabis will be NORMLized (see what I did there?)to the point that discussions like this will no longer be necessary. Those exasperated by cannabis and those who seek it out and enjoy it are in for darker days. The rest of us however, will be irie mon!

Troublemaker is right. Just heard on the news that crime is down in Colorado and Washington. Whether you like it or not, Westender, ganja is here to stay. Try to look at it as a good thing. It has certainly helped my uncle in Seattle who has Parkinson's disease.

When we got in(Tues this week) our driver broached the subject.

So going back to the OP'S question take the Zen approach let it come to you, one caveat don't on the beach - if you,re a gourmet anyway.

One anecdote: We were at Sunbeach, since I've been reading this thread I asked the bartender if she minded if I sparked up.
    "No Mon."
In a bit a tourist couple (European?) Sat down near us.
I turned to them and asked if they were bothered by my smoking.
They looked at me like I had three heads, but said, "no problem."

As far as Colorado I was there the week before Cannabis cup - one of the stores I visited was right on the edge of a neighborhood of pleasant homes, I took the time to look around and there weren't any homes for sale or any sign of any kind of urban distress.

Another funny thing, while most of the workers were in their 20's most of the clientele were boomers.

I too noticed that Rum, when I visited the newly opened recreational store in Ft Collins. At 36, I was definitely one of the younger people in the crowded waiting room. As far as subs and Jamaica go.....I stayed at Couples Negril my only visit to Jamaica, ten years ago, on my honeymoon. I didn't out of my way to search for ganja, but guess what? I had a week's worth, within ten minutes of my arrival, no stress, no fuss, no problem mon. We're arriving for our ten year anniversary in Oct, on a much different kind of Jamaican vacation, (staying at Seastar this time around) and while I'll definitely partake, acquisition of said goods is of little concern to me....it'll find me, in various amounts, qualities and prices....but its a buyers market, certainly, and if you're looking for quality, don't be afraid to say no or ask for better stuff. What I experienced was that the high grade wasn't quite comparable to what I can get here in the states, it was certainly several steps above crappy Mexi schwag in every way.

Further, it is incredibly easy to find. More than 50 percent of Jamaican males, aqed 18 to 60, will offer it. Most days, if you get around a bit, you'll be offered ten times or more per day. It is EXTREMELY ok to smoke it almost anywhere, and in fact there are more smokers than non-smokers at any given time on the island.
Lol, cannot figure out what this has to do with my saying Rum-polephoreskin have an interestinng name

I will say that the term sub came from a episode of How I met your Mother....that is the way i am using it...

and it may not be a potent as in the states, but it def alot cheaper...so just eat a little more...i eat all day, every day, and I actually save money on subs while on vacation...
