Alborosie and Negril trip June 27th - July 11th.

I was making my playlist for our upcoming Negril trip June 27th - July 11th and came across a Reggae artist called Alborosie. This guy rocks. Anyone ever heard of him? He is Italian but lives in Kingston. Great songs including Herbalist and Call Up Jah.

We are staying for 2 weeks this time, first three nights at Tensing Pen and 11 days at Riu Tropical Bay. Booked my buddy Carlton from Irie Routes for airport transportation and a day trip to the Peter Tosh Masoleum, YS Falls and the Pelican Bar. A friend will be joining us for 5 nights and then my sister and her boyfriend will be joining us for the second week. A couple of questions: 1) Any problems enjoying a sub on the property at Tensing Pen? How about the balcony at the Riu? 2) Do restaurants on the cliffs take credit cards? (thinking LTU Pub, IVans, Ahhbees and 3 Dives) 3) Where can I purchase a grinder and a pipe?

I am so stoked I cannot wait. Only 38 days. This will be our third trip to Jamaica but our first time actually staying in Negril. Love Jamaica. Love Jamaica. Love it.

I like Alboriosie. Also check out Gentleman. They just released more songs and promo for a movie they made called Journey to Jah. Alborosie stayed at Banana Shout on the east side of the road which is now Bananas Garden. There is a mural of Alborosie on the outside wall of Banana Shout.
