Doctor's Cave Beach for sure. It is actually my favourite beach. It's about $300JA per person to get on for the day, but you can get stamped and go and come as you please. There are some nice restos for beach snacks and drinks; a jetty at the end where you enter where you can go throw bread in the water and the fish come in droves! Very few hustlers. It's pretty safe - we used to send the kids there on their own when the oldest was about 11 or 12, and they were fine. There is also a new or re-newed public beach. I don't know anything about safety there, but from the water at Dr.'s Cave, it looked pretty nicely appointed. I think it's called Cornwall ... I think.

There is Mobay Undersea tours which is pretty cool. Even teenagers would be impressed! It's a glass bottom boat on steroids. The lower deck of the boat is below water, and glassed in, so you have a great almost 360 view of the undersea. You can snorkel off the back of the boat at one point in the tour. The crew are divers, and they go off during the tour and bring you some interesting stuff to see from the glass deck - sea urchins, puffer fish - whatever is 'available". They keep an eye on ocean floor and point out upcoming treasures of the sea. Good tour. You come up on deck after and are amazed at how close to shore you are!

You aren't too far for an evening run to Glistening Waters. Awesome. If I were on an Anthony Bordain-type layover and could only do one thing in Ja, I would go to Glistening Waters. Again, even teenagers would be amazed. mind you, it's just past Falmouth, so they may have been!

Margaritaville is cool. There's an uber water slide the kids will love and lots of toys in the water to bounce on and expend energy. The food's much more reasonable and better quality now than it was before.

I would give AquaSol a miss, but that's my personal opinion. It has go cart and some other stuff, but it doesn't seem worth the price of admission. Seems to be more for younger kids.

Walter Fletcher beach is much improved. Good for a walk down from Margaritaville and a dip in the sea. Wouldn't spend a day there as there is not much around for snacks and drinks.

Pork Pit is a must to eat at! Great stuff!

Unless it's improved A LOT, I would avoid Buccaneer's Beach, too. Too much hard stuff for sale there and kinda sketchy, to me.

Hope this helps!
