I'm sure you could hire someone but not sure of anyone that's done that recently....it would take all day (by car it takes almost 2 hours to get there) & would be extremely pricey.

Went several years ago. At the time the boat ride was $10 per person. Probably more now.

We have transportation to the Peter Tosh Masoleum, YS Falls and to the Pelican Bar for $75 pp. I was asking about the actual boat ride to get to the Pelican Bar.

Mbdelong...I unfortunately assumed you meant from Negril to the Pelican Bar....Yvonne is referring to the boat from Parottee Bay to Pelican Bar. Depending on the location of the boat in Parottee Bay the ride will be $10 to 15us per person.
Red Stripe was 400J when we were there beginning of April.

It's possible to get a boat there from more than one spot. Parrotee is the closest/shortest (and usually cheapest) boat ride but you can also go from Black River (right there or just east, at Cloggy's), or if you weren't doing YS Falls, even from Whitehouse (closer to Tosh). Kind of depends how much boat time you want and how much you want to pay.

Mixed drinks $500J. Food...I think chicken and fish was around $10US, lobster more.

Bring bug spray if you are going to be there toward sunset. Good god, they were bad when we got off the boat last year.

That is an understatement. I do not think I have ever encountered so many mosquitoes at one time. They lit a big fire that smoked the bar out, and it was still bad. I did enjoy getting several set ups at the bar while hanging on the beach there. We had a great time while many went to Pelican.
