A beautiful boy of 26 has lost his life and a circle of family and friends is devastated, totally broken. The boardie inquiry and finger pointing judgement should be held in another court.
Yes this poor young man used poor judgement in attempting a back flip but honestly who hasn't exhibited poor judgement at one point or other in their lives. Truly tragic accident
Once again though, where the hell was the ambulance???
This is very sad. I wonder how many serious, non fatal accidents go unreported there. I am not sure I'd be able to go back to the music and drinking as posted in the comments section of the article had I witnessed that. So much sad news this week. I think I may go news-free for a few days.

Blessings sent to all his loved ones. Sadly, being as old that I am...we have all done things that could have gone wrong. My heart is saddened with the loss such a young man and my heart goes out to all.

My post was aimed at the next visitor who either does something dangerous or friends that stand by a let it happen.
My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of the young man.
If you read my post I don't refer to this tragedy. I would never speak that way to his family or friends.
I was speaking in very stark terms to the next foolhardy soul who takes life in hand while on vacation in Jamaica or Florida on spring break or any where else. (My ship comment is from first hand experience)
We want every visitor to have a great and safe time in Negril and go home with that special vibe.
I do understand you sensibility though and I apologize.
