    Re: Cliff jumping death

Most importantly I'd like to pay my respects to the young man that lost his life, God Bless you. Also to the family and friends of this young man our heartfelt prayers and sympathy go out to you. I am so sorry for your loss and your mourning.

Capt D that post has to be the most ignorantly, inconsiderate timed posting I have ever seen. Good Lord, how would you be feeling if this was your son and some crusty a$$ old pos, arrogant, braggart, senile, ba$trd was running his mouth to you like this? Your friggin living proof that stupid is as stupid does. How much scotch did you plow down to numb and dumb down your humanity to make this post? And news flash, no body frickin cares about the one of many yarns you spin about you looking for a sunfish back in the 70's.

You said it buddy "proceed at your own peril" , I damn sure wouldn't want to run my mouth like this around someones family or friends after a tragic loss like this. That old man pass only goes so far, Cap.

And the other post earlier in the thread by the other geriatric is nearly as disrespectful.

    Jamb

Yes you are entitled to your opinion but out of decency to the friends and family of the deceased son and friend, at this time doesn't your common sense button in that thick skull of yours tell you they deserve sympathy. People close to the family have already commented in this thread which means they are reading it!

Wow time to close this think the S-h-i-t has hit the fan quite a few times. Can't believe how some people have reacted to other peoples responses.

People could still jump, but much more safely, and the 'Rick's Vibe' would not be affected.

Is that too simple a solution? Why invite tragedy by providing a high dive platform? People get drunk at Rick's and with that comes impaired judgment (most of us can relate to that). If there is a high dive platform, people who shouldn't be jumping from it will jump - guaranteed.

I say close off the high platform and build another one at half the height. Save injuries and ruined lives.

    $$$$$$$$$$$$$ say different.

    Hey Jambarney,
Can you please take a second and tell everyone how you really feel. No need to sugar coat it.

My condolences to the family and friends of this young man.

    Jambarney,

My post was aimed at the next visitor who either does something dangerous or friends that stand by a let it happen.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of the young man.

If you read my post I don't refer to this tragedy. I would never speak that way to his family or friends.

I was speaking in very stark terms to the next foolhardy soul who takes life in hand while on vacation in Jamaica or Florida on spring break or any where else. (My ship comment is from first hand experience)

We want every visitor to have a great and safe time in Negril and go home with that special vibe.

I do understand you sensibility though and I apologize.

Would you consider tact to be a common sense kind of thing Accompong? I would.

For real though, that was pretty cold and condescending. While you would hope for a little more tact from the two most "wise and all knowing boardies".....I would expect nothing less from Accompong. However I personally found the other post to be surprising and disappointing. (before it was edited...good thinking....thank you for revising that).

Angel, I can't believe that you can't believe that....????

I always hurt for people whose tragedies and personal pain is broadcasted on the world wide web and opened up to the public for their unwarranted opinions and speculations. Nobody needs that sh*t. It's tacky and totally uncalled for. That's my $0.02 but what do I know

There was a lot more I wanted to say, but I held my tounge. Accompong has some issues, lets just say that.
