wondering if anyone has stayed at or knows about Fun Holiday Beach going to book for 10 days....not picky at all just want a clean place to stay, my husband and me have been to Jamaica 5 times but haven't stayed on the beach in many years. We're in our mid 50's but very open minded and like to venture out eat and drink with the locals...Thanks for any help...........

We have been going to Negril for quite sometime and frequently stopped by Fun Holiday for drinks and occasional meal.
Have seen several less than favorable reviews so we never stayed there. Let me say that was a mistake on our part. We stayed in one of the ocean view rooms that directly look into the sea at the end of 2013 and loved it. Everyone from start to finish treated us wonderfully and we had incredible privacy. We chose to eat off site, but had one or two meals there and they were fine.
Would definitely stay there again.

I had a reservation for ocean front view room Dec 29 2011 to Jan 6th 2012 when we arrived was told we over booked . Was not given this info until the credit card was handed over. Note: When Limo Mon arrives we usually get welcomed taken to the room I stop by office next day or 2 days after and pay the bill. The staff at FH just want to demand credit card before any type info was given out. Mind you this room was booked with deposit in FEB 2011 direct with the big man at FH after he haggled me for over 2 years on Da beach to come stay in his ocean front room " Limo bring the lady ocean front room next year ok". Was told they knew it 10 days before but chose not to call me "don't feel bad there are 3 more ". The man at FH had my cell number and office had home but no call?? With that it's a good spot to experience a middle beach stay. Not the Ritz but good enough place to stay. They put us north at the Palms.

I have stayed there several times, its just that, a basic clean room, all is fine unless you need a pillow case! lol
Trip #59 most of February
I was just there for the 3rd time. Basic and clean is what you will get. You can't beat the location and the staff is great! I prefer the bottom floor rooms on the office side closest to the beach- they are always cooler

I stayed there in March this year. First trip to Negril and to Jamaica, travelled solo. Went AI as amazingly it was cheaper than booking flight and hotel separately.
Very basic room, kept very clean. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Air conditioning worked well. Good, free internet connection all over the property including in the room. Food was fine, nothing spectacular. Drinks were fine, draught beer, good and cold. Staff are fantastic and really looked after me, especially the first couple of days as I was a bit nervous lol. Location is fab, right on the beach and within walking distance to lots of other hotels, bars and easy to walk to town.
I had pillow cases lol but had to ask for a blanket.
Thanks for all the information everyone...I think we have made our decision, staying at Fun Holiday for sure...Nov 16 thru Nov 26.
Very excited booked our vacation...staying at Fun Holiday Nov 9 - 19....can't wait to get back to my favorite place!!!
