Hey Ya'll, I'm just sitting here in the Mountains of NC pining, like most of you, over my beautiful island escape that is Negril. I have been traveling to this little corner of the Caribbean for twenty three years. I have found Negril.com to be a life raft, so to speak, for the times when I long for the sweet smells of tropical breeze, Sun and azure waters of the sea. This board keeps me in "Good Mind". Thanks to all that work hard to keep it rolling, and for being interesting and informative. Big Ups to Rob and Lisa. I so enjoy seeing the place I love through the eyes and ears of others (even when a bit fuzzy and blurred). It makes me feel a part of the Boardie community. I've been to Boardie bashes, webcasts, CAN vs JA pool tournaments and have mets a good number of ya'll and i look forward to meeting and communing with many more of you in the future. My next trip will be for ATI this August.
When in Negril, I now stay with long time friend Martin Donalds on Westland Mountain Road (the Lane just across from Canoe Bar). Martin is cousins with Kirby the owner at Canoe. The rooms are very reasonable.
Martin has three rooms for rent: One with two Full beds, Lg Fridge and Lg Clean Bathroom.
One with one full bed, LG Fridge and Lg Clean Bathroom.
One studio apt. with Kitchenette and large couch, Lg Clean Bathroom.
They all have cable TV and Fans (no AC)

The rooms and property are clean and well maintained. They are also within walking distance to Mary's Bay which is the centre of everything. Martin is very accommodating.
