I have the numbers for the public and private ambulance in my phone. i need to wear my medic alert bracelet while out. It has all my info on a flashdrive ordered it online checkout amazon. I need to share my medical info along with emergency contacts with the place i stay. I plan to make an appointment with Dr Grant so that she mets me and knows who I am, just in case. Now my only concern is what hospital i would go to. I've seen a hospital in sav and would not want to go there if possible but i may not have a choice. I have had a vacation interrupted by illness and surgery fortunately it was Puerto rico. Best to be prepared as much as you can for what if moments.
Thanks for sharing - makes me think, staying solo, I should leave my emergency #s at the front desk, as well as my insurance provider phone # etc. I've been trying new places and will be at 3 new ones next trip. I wonder if they'd take my request to keep my emergency info seriously so it would be quickly/easily found by staff members on duty?
