June in Negril
Since it seems to be raining a lot in Calgary ('tis flood season, doncha know), this is a great time to be in Negril. Hot with the odd thunder roll (God is moving furniture) and relatively few tourists. Great time to meet Niah and Power Strap, and get to know the culture of these wonderful people. Did you know they love their animals...dogs, cats, and gosh knows what else. However, one small issue....sand fleas! I've tried just about everything to keep them at bay and even more to relieve the itching. Besides the usual remedies, I've put real aloe juice on them but still driving me crazy. Any further suggestion? And staying off the beach at night isn't one of them.
