mm Negril fan We stayed there in May so if you have any specific questions I'll help as best as I can. For the price, it was more than adequate. There were
a few things I didn't like about it, but overall it was ok.

I am also curious about the Palms...we have is booked for a week in November. Want to make sure there is a fridge in the room. Security on the beach for the more aggressive 'sellers'...and there is not alot of noise at night (my husband wakes up at the drop of a dime)....We stayed at Kuyaba and really liked it, except that he did not sleep but 2 to 3 hours every night because of the music at bourbon beach.

My wife and I stayed at The Palms a year and a half ago. The rooms were nice and we only paid like 90 a night which we thought was a good deal. The rooms don't always have a fridge in them but if you ask at the front desk when you arrive they will have one brought to you fairly quickly. We had a garden view on the second level and it was quiet. Couldn't hear the beach too much and didn't hear the road noise at all. There is security but here's the thing....the beach is very narrow where The Palms is....from their deck/pool area there is room for two rows of chairs and then there's a narrow path and then the water. So having said that everyone that passes by is really close to you so getting away from the sellers on the beach isn't very easy. Just a fair warning. The bar is expensive for the beach but there is usually a guy at the store that will get you cold beer and whatever from one of the bars close by. Just tip him. As well there are lots of places close by that sell cheap beer. Ossie's Jerk hut is also across the road so there is awesome food within a two minute walk. Also lots of other cool spots within walking distance on the beach.

Thanks...We are booked for $43.00 per night (Expedia)...Our plan....like we did a Kuyaba..is to stock our fridge with beer, rum and other goodies...and eat on the beach (pattie guy, Deans pork, etc...) for lunch and have dinners at nearby places...We love to explore !!
What is important to us is the beach (we'll figure it out), and a quiet clean room. Doing this let's us afford 2 Negril vacations a year

Borntobeach - that is exactly why we booked it - we paid about the same. The frig is an additional $10 per day to rent, but well worth it in my opinion. The room was basic, but very clean. Just check your door locks - that was one
of my big problems there. Anything would open it.... They did show us how to lock it from the inside and we used the back door the rest of the time. Juicy next door was our go to close place, and Auntie Thrills had cheap drinks and food. Enjoy!
