Day 6-Leave Day
My alarm goes off at 5am. I don't want to move but I knew I had to do so. I had four hours to spare, so I throw on some shorts and head to the beach. My friend is already up, so I invite him to come along. We walk to the front of the bar/resaturant and it's dark. Only a few people are up at this time: security guards, a few taxis whizzing by and some guys raking sand.

I take in the view of 7 mile, completely amazed at how quiet and beautiful it is when no one else is around. I let out a loud sigh, I definitely wished I didn't have to leave so soon. Like another poster says, You have to leave to come back.
This is what serenity looks like:

I step off the stairs, my feet sink into the sand, I will miss this.

I spot another early riser sitting on one of the many beach chairs out front of Legends. He seems to be thinking...I understand him completely. Well, at least I thought I did. He then jumps to his feet, rips off his shirt, pulls down his speedo and runs into the water! My eyes take in a pale white arse, huge stomach and well...you know.Oh my! My eyes saw everything! I stand there with my mouth hanging open...whoa! LOL! My friend lets off a string of curse words...a guy walking by did a double take and quickly increased his pace.

I did take pictures of the early riser but I will not post them...he may be a poster or lurk this site.
My friend and I walk further down, past Jamaica Tamboo, past Las Vegas, past the now closed Merrills 3 until we get a good distance away from the early riser. The hotels, bars and shops look so lonely when no one is around. I check my phone, it is only 5:15 am. Before heading back, I take a few more photos to hold me over until my next reach.

I ask my friend to hold my camera, while I go test the temperature of the water. Surprisingly, it is not cold but warm. I really want to take a quick swim but my time is limited.

We head back up to Legends so I can pack and maybe have some time to take another walk and more pictures...if possible.
...To be continued.
Great report and pictures Kaycee, please keep them coming!
To be honest, I wasn't going to finish my last day of this trip report. But with some encouragement from Groove16, Ms. Vi and a few facebook messages, I decided to finish it up...no need to leave it hanging! This is going to short and sweet, sorry!
Day 6: Last Day continued.
As soon as I get back to Legends, I take a shower and pack up. Nothing like bringing back sandy, wet clothes! I gave my friend quite a few toiletries, snacks and whatever else I know I did not need. After packing I had about two hours left. I left the Legends property to go and do my goodbye rounds...to the maids, security guards and more friends. Told them all I will see them in a few months, hopefully.
I get back to my room, I break down and cry. I definitely did not want to go so soon...but one must leave to come back. I took the extra time I had to just walk around, let my mind roam and then get my thoughts together. My friend and I walked to the mini mart, got some spice buns and bulla. I got enough to feed a small army. I planned on freezing a few and giving the rest to family.
We head to the opposite end of the street, I just wanted to look around before it was time to go. sigh. Las Vegas appeared to be so eerily quiet when no one is around or loud music blasting. I noticed an old painted tree stump near the entrance and decided to take one last picture.

I head back to my room, grab my luggage, let the office know I will be leaving soon and I told them I really enjoyed the hotel and would stay again. My friend waits around to the end, he still has a few more days before leaving...lucky!
A big van pulls up, it is my driver, and it is time to go. I give my friend a big hug and told him until next time...and to be safe.
I managed to record the entire drive from Green Island to Montego Bay. As soon as I can, I will try to post segments from the video...it is over an hour long!

Towards the end of a very long flight back to Seattle, the Captain told us to look out of the window to see Mt. Rainier, and it was a beautiful sight! I see it everyday while driving but being so close to it was awesome!
