Just wanted to thank everyone who is following along and commenting! I almost gave up on writing this because uploading pictures is a pain the rass!
Today is Day 4 of my report...it is a Saturday! A very busy Saturday at that!
As usual I awoke early in the morning. Did some light yoga in my room, since I knew I would be walking all day. I sat out on the balcony for a few minutes, just taking in the scenery. Kuyaba and Legends has some of the prettiest views ever! I was not the only one who gets up early...the guy who keeps Legends clean was up, sweeping and cleaning around the grounds. Suddenly a string of curse words broke the peaceful morning air. Staying in the room below me was a couple with a small child. The guy was upset about something his wife did; all you could hear was B*tch this and B*tch that. Ugh! Didn't want that to ruin my morning so I went back in and prepared for my busy day. I had quite a few places in mind I wanted to stop...Times Square,Craft Market, Negril River, Lighthouse...
I selected a cute outfit, showered and headed out. Met up with my friend again and had the security guard walk us across the street. I think its cool that the cars take the guards seriously. At times I have seen a few cars speed right past while people are trying to cross...an accident waiting to happen!
First stop was Times Square, the shops were just beginning to open and quite a few still closed. We waited around a bit for some more stores to open. I needed to buy tshirts, trinkets and whatever else I could find for a good price. Don't be afraid to negotiate on prices either! I do and end up with good deals!

We waited a bit longer but it was just too early! LOL! what can I say, I'm a early riser. There are 3 shops open and they get our business.

The basket lady is always out...rain or shine. I'm not sure if she sells a lot of items, but her work is amazing! And no it isn't made in China. She actually sits there and weave each item herself. We had a quick conversation my last trip on her work. Her work costs a bit more than expected but hey, it is handmade and time consuming.

Great work!

As we are looking for more shops to be open, I remembered another trip reporter having some mouth watering gizzada's at the Times Squares Cafe. I can't wait to have one! I put some pep in my step, because I knew I was going to taste a gizzada! Well, guess what? The cafe isn't open...darn it! Oh well...next trip.

One more stop for trinkets and we are out! While walking a poster catches my eye. There is a guy on it who resembles my dad...weird. LOL! He looks so much like my dad, I take a picture of it. Hmm...maybe he is a long lost relative? I will have to do some research when I get home.
Here is the poster

We finally leave the mall, and decide to walk into town since it is such a pretty morning. The sun is not unbearable yet so we definitely take it all in while we can. We chat about how nice Negril is and what we would do if we won the lottery...we both have the same answer...move to Negril! LOL!
While walking I just snap random pics of whatever I find interesting.
Coral Seas. A lovely property indeed. Very clean and quiet.

Elvis Bike & Scooter Rental...I'm really thinking about renting a scooter on my next reach.

I snapped a pic of this because of the various discussions on medical treatment in Negril. I hope this helps some of you who have concerns?

We are now outside of the Negril Yoga Centre. I wanted to inquire about taking a class but there seems to be no one around...no guard, no guests or anything. Too early it seems...again. The Centre has some pretty flowers out front...time for a photo session.
Continued...
It is time for a quick photo session out front of the Yoga Centre!
I'm sure someone who is reading my report, can identify the flowers for me.

After our photo session, we cross the street to the craft market. Thank goodness not too many vendors were out yet. My first trip to Negril, I literally was dragged around and cursed for not going into shops. We just looked...we did see some unique items but they were pricey. I hate the fact that many vendors say that there items are handmade but they have made in China on the back...why lie about it?

I'm breaking out into a sweat...yep, the sun is out and the day is going to be hot, hot, hot! While searching in my bag for something to wipe my face with, I notice a plant. Is that what I think it is? Yep, says a vendor. Right out in the open...
weed, mj, maryjane, cannabis, ganja, sticky-icky, good-good...so many names for it

We didn't buy anything at the craft market but it was nice to look and exchange morning greetings.
Nice paintings

A few other tourists out and about.

As we head around the corner of the crafts market, we see a friend, exchange fists bumps. He said today was a busy day for the fishermen. We look over, a big crowd of locals are up buying the days catch while its fresh. Very cool! It was very crowded, too crowded for me to be nosey! LOL! So we walk over to the other side of the river.

I find beauty in this. Yes, it is a bit smelly but look at that!

All that walking was causing me to burn calories...good! I needed to eat to have more energy and My tummy was rumbling...We had not had any breakfast yet. I was in the mood for some american food...so burger king it was. I do not eat beef anymore, so we decided upon the chicken jr sandwich combo to share. The meal is $700j, has two small fries, two small drinks and two chicken sandwiches. It was really good and hit the spot! We sat there for another 15 minutes just taking in the view outside of the window.
Let's walk on the pier and see if we can spot any fish, I suggested! Good idea said my friend, let's go! Away we went...the air on the pier was fresh and cool, almost like a fan. It felt sooo good! I see a glass bottom boat near the edge of the water...maybe some tourists are going out? I took a quick peek in the boat. The bottom reminded me of a wooden frame window set with glass, paint was peeling and I saw a small hole in it. Interesting...LOL!
