Theft at Calvary Baptist Church in Sav La Mar

Greetings Boardies,

I was contacted by Pastor Ricardo Cooper of Calvary Baptist Church in Sav-La-Mar. During the week, someone broke into their church and stole all of the musical instruments, electronic equipment, sound system including microphones, amplifier, and speakers. Our church has developed a special relationship with Calvary Church and have provided support in many ways. We are taking school supplies to the children of the church and the community when I get there. I will be in Negril Oct 22 - Nov 1, and will preach the message at 11 AM.

Please keep Pastor Cooper and the church in your prayers.

Bob, if I remember correctly, you posted the orginal picture of the church when I was looking for a Baptist church in Negril. Pastor Cooper and I have developed a great friendship and our church sends school supplies for the children of the church and in the area. I actually have more things than I can carry this year, and before anyone jumps on that statement, I also buy items from Negril Pharmacy as well. Thanks for the hook-up. Pastor Cooper and his wife are a blessing to that area.
