We are staying st Idleawhile, this is the first time not staying at an all inclusive. I know about Best In the West across the street, but what else is close by that we should try, I'm up for anything.

South of their I like Charela, Mariposa, and the Rondel for eats or drinks, and a great spot for just drinks is Tonys. Going north Marleys and the Treehouse are a couple of our favs. Of course all the years going to Negril I don't think I've ever had a bad meal or drink!
Peace, Todd & Cher
I'll second Todd on Charela. It is pricey, but good. They have live music on Thursday, so that is the night that we go. The dance floor is outdoor which adds romance!
Chances for great pizza, 3 dives on the cliffs, Jah Bs across from Rooms, soon come
We enjoy Rainbow Arch. I don't look at the menu. I just ask Joy, "Whats good today?". Dear wife usually gets the lobster or fried chicken.
Ivan's is really good for a fancyish night out. The food there is excellent, and the dinners are reasonably priced.
We ate at Pressleys one year, side of the road shack type place, but the man can cook. Makes exactly what you want if you come in early in the day and make an order.
