To add my 2 cents. It's not only americans or tourists who are being aproached by sales pple in Jamaica. When you are a natural born Jamaican and drive around Kingston in a good car you are being approached on every stop light with attempts to wash your windows, sell you peanuts, CDs, bag juice and so on. If you are a low income jamaican and travel by bus on every bus station they offer you to buy cold pepsi, crackers and stuff passing it on through the windows when you are already sitting on your bus. Very convenient by the way. So its not a service offered only to the tourists
