    Re: Shooting number 3...

Firstly, I really do respect everyones opinion. I never intended to engage in a debate regarding gun control. I was merely relating the concern felt by some of the residents/workers of Negril who have to get from job to family after hours, due to current events. Not speculation or conjecture but real feelings related to me by friends/family who have lived in Jamaica their entire lives. I said that if the Police can't protect the people: the people should be allowed to protect themselves. My friends and the Jamaican people that I associate with are not members of a Travon Martin society. They are not criminals. They are hard working, family loving, respectable men and women. You may disagree with my John Wayne/Clint Eastwood/Ted Nugent mentality, frankly I am ok with your disdain. If you are smart you don't bring a knife to a gun fight. If you want to check statistics, Iceland (where I have lived) ranks as #15 worldwide per capita in LEGAL gun ownership, and near ZERO in gun related deaths. Gun ownership is legal in England, and the rest of the United Kingdom for that matter. Check your facts before you call someone stupid, make sure your hands are clean before you point a finger. My wish is for the murderers to feel the wrath of the Creator. Nothing more.

Lived in Japan for several years, and guess what, the cops do not carry guns. No need to as the society is mostly self policing. I had a vending machine around the corner from my house that sold only beer. Right on the street for all to partake. Drove by it at least a thousand times and never did I once see an underage person taking part. I agree that guns are not the answer. Suffering, lack of parenting, and so many other factors are the real issue. Curious, how many homes on a percentage basis with children have both a mom and dad living there?

Booger, I have no idea nationwide, but the four families who I call friends/family are batting 1000. A Dad, a Mom, and 2-3 children per household.

Really, Ted Nugent !! the person who referred to President Obama as a subhuman mongrel, thats who you want to be associated with.

P.S. for the rest of you boardies, as the saying goes "never argue with a idiot they will bring you down to their level and then beat you over the head with it".

Not that it really matters, but I voted for our President twice. An idiot; that's pretty harsh. Hope you enjoy your trip and stay safe! Best wishes for you and your's.
