Not speculation or conjecture but real feelings related to me by friends/family who have lived in Jamaica their entire lives. I said that if the Police can't protect the people: the people should be allowed to protect themselves. My friends and the Jamaican people that I associate with are not members of a Travon Martin society. They are not criminals. They are hard working, family loving, respectable men and women. You may disagree with my John Wayne/Clint Eastwood/Ted Nugent mentality, frankly I am ok with your disdain. If you want to check statistics, Iceland ( were I have lived) ranks as #15 worldwide per capita in LEGAL gun ownership, and near ZERO in gun related deaths. Gun ownership is legal in England, and the rest of the United Kingdom for that matter.
