Saw him at summerfest, great show.
my seats were in row q to the right of the stage. nice seats, lots of fun. i thought about going down to summerfest to see him but when i saw he was coming to DC it was a no brainer
Real excited to see Ziggy in Winnipeg next Friday, October 3rd.
Playing at the Burton Cummings Theatre, which is a nice small venue.
Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your perspective, some of the people that were planning on attending can't make it, so I have some tickets available (on the floor)
PM me if you are interested
I'm sorry I missed his show when he was in my town. I was moving that weekend. He played a small venue here as well. And I heard it was a great show too. Maybe next tour.
Johio
Just bought tickets to see him in a few weeks in North Bay, Ontario, I was shocked when I saw he was coming in town! Can't wait to see him live!
We got to see Ziggy in Sioux City, Iowa, in July. He also sang several of Bob's songs and eerily sounded just like him. Also enjoyed the energy of his band and backup singers/dancers. Excellent show! Hope to see him again some day.
another winnipeger here . . . yes, burton cummings theatre is just the right venue for ziggy . . . soo looking forward to hearing him . . . going solo . . .
we can't wait to see Ziggy in Winnipeg next Friday. I love the small, more intimate venues. We have a group of 12 going and it should a blast. I just hope we don't have to stay seated. A few years ago Berres Hammond was at the concert hall and the whole crowd danced all night at their seats. It was amazing.
Ziggy was booked to play in my little neck of the woods two summers ago. He never made it. He got held up at immigration.
I was lucky to see his dad perform live back in the day though. When I think about it now it seems like a dream. Eventually saw Peter Tosh perform live on his own too. Awesome show!
