Saw him in Iowa City in '90 or '91 - still one of the best concerts I have ever seen.

Saw him on his Forward to Love tour in June 2012 and again in July for this current tour. Both concerts were awesome. His youngest son came onto the stage to play the drum on Fly Rasta -- very cool to see Bob's spirit and message coming down through the generations.
Yes - He does do several of his dad's chunes... and he does come off eerily like Bob in his persona and his performance of that music... amazing! As someone else noted, his young son and daughter did come on state during the album's title song, "Fly Rasta"... we could see them off stage from our seats, just dancing and itching to get on with Dad, to bang the drums and dance for the crowd... just like when he was their age. The Legend continues....
Looking forward to seeing Ziggy for the second time this year in two weeks! Always puts I
on a great show. Love that he still plays Melody Makers songs and always a few of Bob's songs. And I got to meet Santa after the concert. Yea Mon!

We are seeing Ziggy in Edmonton on the 30th Sept at the Winspear Centre for the Arts. Unfortunately that is a large venue of 2000 and home to the Edmonton Symphony. I wish his booking people would have picked a smaller rambunctious venue where people could have stood / danced etc. as a symphony hall does not lend itself to this. We had a Reggae Fest here a few weeks back in the open air - an amazing riverfront venue was used and bands and singers from JA were in for this. It was great. Now I am trying to get tix at Rockhouse Negril on Nov 4th for the Tarrus Riley performance. Anyone know how these can be ordered online or?
The show Friday in Winnipeg was awesome.
The crowd was into it, the band was into it, and most importantly, Ziggy was into it.
Right from the moment Ziggy walked on stage the energy in the room was unbelievable.
Here is a link to the remaining shows on his tour.

If you get a chance to go, take it. You won't be disappointed
agree, it was "electrifying" . . . i love that the show was on time . . .
Beefer- thanks for the link. There is a show in Connecticut this Sunday and I am going to go- I've been jonesing bad for Negril and this might just be what I needed to make the next 8 weeks pass easier until I head down there.
The Ziggy show in Winnipeg - SO MUCH FUN!!! I didn't sit down once!! So much dancing - yay! We should have had a "Negril Forum meetup" for a drink at the Burt before the show.....seems like there were a few of us there![]()
