    Something New To Try...

We always like to try something new on our trips. Given that this is #10 I'm starting to run out of things. Last year was Lobster Pizza on the beach and dinner at Catch a. 2 years ago was Sweet Spice and Jucy Patties. This year I'm thinking Chicken Lavish? What's the place with all the hammocks? How far past the lighthouse is the bakery?

    Any other suggestions???

Hey Russ in MN. I too am in MN, just west of the twin cities. We just booked our 1st ever Jamaica trip for the end of January. After cruising the entire Southern Caribbean we have finially decided to try Negril Jamaica. Nice to meet you.

Hey Corona... Negril is a great place. I've never done the AI stuff so not sure how that will turn out. Just make sure that you explore off the resort and don't let them scare you into thinking it is unsafe. As long as you take the proper precautions (like you would in downtown Wayzata) you'll be fine. The food is great almost anywhere and a polite "No Thank you" will keep the vendors away. Hope you enjoy as much as we do. We're just So. of the cities.

I highly recommend a place near the round about, above Hammonds Bakery. Think the name is Seven Mile Restaurant. Anyhow, it is great!! Good prices, great curried chicken as well as other treats...and some great Roti!! The view is great, watching all the folks. You won't regret it!! They will get you a beer...yet if you want mixed drinks or wine...bring your own. We asked about it last New Years Eve and they told us "no problem"...so we had a great dinner as well as a nice bokkle of wino...which we shared with our cook. Great likkle place...with nice folks running it.

Katho, look at our tickers! We're going to be there at the same time again. We'll have to try and meet this time. Are you staying at Xtabi again?
