First solo trip

This will be my first solo trip...anywhere. So I'm on my own for the first five days of a 8 day reach.
I enjoy my own company and don't get lonely so I'm not worried about that.

Question for the veterans is, what am I in for? I assume lots of introspection, but what else? I'll admit that I'm not good at meeting people so I'll be the guy sitting at the end of the bar.

I'm on my first solo right now. The best thing I did for myself was hire my own personal driver. Got treated like a king and my driver was always looking out for me and teaching me. Having a driver is cheaper than you would think. For example, I pay $120 for a private 1 hr ride to the airport here in the states and pay $60 for a ride from MBJ to Negril which is roughly 1 1/2hrs. At night I now rarely go out without a private driver and have a great time wherever we go.
