We received a great price at Firefly for our November 2014 stay

Yeah, some of these low rates make me sort of jealous. The Wife insists on sea view rooms, and those are rarely discounted - in fact they command a premium price. Plus, we stay on the cliffs and most of these price drops are on beach properties. That's OK, I feel like we got a pretty deal on our upcoming trip the old fashioned way - I negotiated.
Been there doing construction, it was hardly noticeable. And if the construction is being completed in November, I would think the bulk of the noise is already completed and they are just painting and what not. What a awesome deal if I can find it. Im going end of Oct and at that price I can afford to stay double the time!

Yeah, I have heard that the construction noise at CCLP was not a big deal. It's a great rate, so if the construction doesn't bother you - go for it!

I stayed at Home Sweet Home two years ago while they were building their new rooms and sprucing up the old ones. I had no problem with it, but I can see where a lot of people would find it an inconvenience. Although they were friendly, the property was overrun with construction workers all day. There was scaffolding, construction material and debris debris all over, which kind of affected the view and ambiance. The main restaurant was closed, though they did serve us dinner in a small area outside the kitchen and on our balcony. We still had a great time as were still able to enjoy our room and the cliffs, but I can see why they need to offer a construction discount to bring guests to the property.
