4 P.M. check in, not bad

Since my plane leaves about 9:30 AM, I should be through customs and out the door by 2:30.

An afternoon arrival is what awaits me.

Hmm, too late for lunch, too early for dinner?
Ha, ha ha. Not in Negril. Whatever you want to eat at anytime is no problem.

I once had Brown stew chicken for breakfast! It was great!

After a quick check in, a quick wash-up, grab some US dollars and away we go!

I think I will head straight for the West End this trip.

Either Eddies Da Bar or Chicken Lavish is the plan, but who knows?

Plans change at the drop of a hat in Negril.

My main man, Nick, runs a Red Plate taxi on the beach road.

Beep, beep! Out of the blue he will pull over sometimes.
I think it is just a route taxi and I wave him off, just to find out it's Nick!
Those Toyota horns all sound the same.

SO, if he is not there, I'll get one of the other drivers for a quick ride to the west end.

I must stop at the little store across the road for a snack first.
I know how most restaurants cook to order, don't want to be starving while I wait for the main course.

Peanuts or something to tide me over until the food is cooked and ready.
I can't wait to get that first Red Stripe and meal in my belly.

Just about 2 weeks to go and then it's on! Til the break of dawn!
