CORRECTION
The regular fees for Processing Application for Extension of Stay, Re-entry Visa and Registration still remain in force. To extend your stay past 90 days, the cost is still J$10,000. This has NOT changed.
The j$50,000 is for a new service, persons who wish to extend their stay beyond the Visa Exemption period. This is more for short term "business" stays for film crews, writers, artists, etc. who have already been issued a Visa Exemption.
And the increase in the permanent residency has been long overdue. It is now in line with other similar fees.
