A friend of mine recently built a house up in the hills of Negril.
It's a nice one level home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.
One morning his wife was up first and in the bathroom.
"Marko, we have an outdoor shower too"
Really? Cool. I walked out the back door and there it was.
Wood panels surrounded the sides up to about my neck. Hot and cold water too.
I turned the nob and out came the water.
It was very warm, not steamy, but just right.
Nice to have a hot water heater.
I stepped in and was instantly in a new world!
I could look all around and see the trees and plants.
I looked to my left and saw butterflies having their breakfast.
I could look straight up and see birds soaring overhead.
I lathered up with some sweet smelling all natural body wash and shampoo.
Man o man, this is soooo sweeet! In a way, I felt closer to nature.
Like a natural man should feel.
Outdoors, feeling free and easy.
Man, this is the life.
To me the little, nice and simple things just thrill me to no end in Jamaica.
Why can't I feel this good in Chicago? (stupid question)
I didn't want to use up all of my man's water,
but for a brief shining moment I felt like I was Don Quixote de la Mancha.
A knight errant, on a mission to save Dulcinea.
It was marvelous.
The ideas of what to do for the day just started to flow
and I felt a very strong connection with nature and the creator.
So, get out there, feel what I felt.
Be bold. Great forces will come to your aid.
