Fly Rasta!

It's a bit past 6am here at a quiet campground in Wisconsin's Door County. I'm having a tough time coming down from a high energy performance by Ziggy Marley at the Door County Auditorium; I don't know how the locals here were able to land Ziggy to play in what amounts to a very good high school venue that seats 750 people, but what a show!

We've never seen him perform, but his set list included fully six tunes in homage to his dad, and it was spooky how like him he sounded and looked! If you missed an opportunity to see him as he came through your area, sucks for you... but if get the chance, do not pass!

Chris I know that feeling of high energy you are talking about. I saw Ziggy and his band perform his first show in Negril back in March of 1990 at Samsara and WOW what a show. The road in and out of Negril was backed up for miles and rocked the town, the energy there was something I have never experienced. The best performance ever

Saw him Saturday night in Bayfield WI, AWESOME Show. If you get a chance to see him do not miss it!!!

Good to hear it was a good concert. He will be playing here in a couple of months. Same type of situation, a high school theatre type of place with under 1000 seats. It will be a good birthday gift for my son. Can't wait!

2 weeks ago here on Long Island. 4 yrs. in a row at the same small venue. Best show out of the 4!!!

Ziggy in Door County? Am I glad or sad I didn't know?!!? (had a busy weekend) As a kid/teen I roamed freely along the shore/woods/fields between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. Was just there the previous weekend.

I too was in Fish Creek Door county fot eh Fly Rasta. excellent venue and more excellent show. stayed right accross the street from the DCA so did not need to drive anywhere. I would love to see the next time he is in the area

Cool, guyingb! Where were your seats? We were in the back balcony, but still seemed close for us! I was up there waving the Jamaican flag....

They have had some great shows/big names at that venue.
