I believe so. Years ago, I used to take traveler's checks because they were free from AAA or my credit union and the highest exchange rate. Go figure. I always found it a pain in the arse especially when I couldn't recreate my sloppy signature. "Make them match." Ha! Good luck at doing that. Each is a unique, hand crafted scribble. Once ATMs became so ubiquitous, I quit using the checks.
