    Big up to aa!

Our flight to Mobay left out of ohare with a bounce down through Charlotte, got an email saying lay over changed from 1 hour to just about 40 minutes, wait a tic,no way that's enough time. So after a couple calls and getting switched to a supervisor, they actually saw it my way, moved to a straight through flight,no change fee what so ever!! Sais something for booking right with the airline as opposed to Travelocity or what have you. Also in this day and age when customer service seems to be declining I think I've gotta give props to aa us air,ya mon soon come! (Jan)

That is great for you! Congrats.
I use to use the Expedia, but now it's straight to the airlines website.

Glad to hear a good story. Used to be AA would send me a flight time change e-mail when it changed by a minute. The last time they screwed up big time, at least would have if I hadn't checked. My flight had changed by hours & I would have been heading for the airport when my plan was leaving!!! Thank goodness I checked or it would have been a disaster. One minute change they notified me, hours... not a word. Go figure. The good news is, since then, no flight times have changed. Otherwise, no real complaints about AA. They only "lost" my luggage once & it wasn't really lost & not their fault. Luggage transport belt in Miami wasn't working so luggage couldn't get to the planes & flights stay on time. Got it the next day.

Glad that worked out in your favor. They have changed my flight a few times and if I felt uncomfortable
They always make good on making changes to accommodate me
Yes I think it pays to book direct !

When Air Jamaica stopped out of O'Hare all my direct flights are with AA.

What's this talk of direct flights? I haven't seen one from an airport within 150 miles of my house in years.

    Sorry, just a little jealous.

By the way, I've done the 40 minute turn around in CLT many times. In that airport it's plenty of time. It just doesn't leave room for any error on the part of your originating flight to get into CLT on time.
