It's good to hear that the AA/US Airways is stepping up their game, customer service-wise. I'm a US Air frequent flier member (soon to be American Airlines) and although I've never had a problem with them, they've always got mediocre scores all around. I actually can't complain because they've always gotten me to MBJ on time, and that's all that really matters.
Yea yea party time goin crazy right now can't wait hope to see you there NoWorries
AA does let you do one way with miles. Maybe it will change now for US air. We usually do one way miles and one way pay. Stretches out our vacation dollars a bit.
Booger, call American and ask if there is a way to use US Air miles one way. As NoWories said you can do it on AA. We used AA miles and they booked us on US Air through Charlotte all the way to MoBay. If it is possible they will have you do it online to save fees. I had a problem booking my last trip online and they walked me through it on the phone and fixed a software glitch while we talked. I was impressed. I am personally glad AA survived.
