Yeah, I would love to do one-way mileage flights on US Air. As it is, its pretty difficult to use miles on their international flights as the fees are higher and the miles required are higher for a relatively short flight to the Caribbean.
Right now, most of the flights out of PHL are still branded as US Air (at least the flights to MBJ), so I don't if I have any leverage to request one way mileage. I'm anxious to see what happens after the merger closes, earlier next year. I already know they are taking away some of the benefits of my US Airways MasterCard (like the $99 companion certificate), but I will gladly give that up for a better awards travel program.
