For going solo I would do Tensing Pen or Rockhouse. Great places but a bit pricey. Both have great views & food. Also very well kept and very secure.

Shelly, I think it's a relatively new upgrade, but sea front Cottage 6 now has AC.

Wondering why no Xtabi? That place that has no place in my heart is sort of the mid ground for cliff places. More details can narrow it down......

I thought Xtabi didn't have rooms with both a/c and views = one or the other.

Also, wondering about Rockhouse = never mentioned by boardies.
Hung out there briefly last trip, seemed nice. Thoughts?

My 2 cents, if you need an AC in a seaside cottage at Xtabi in Nov and not a blanket or two you might of taken too many of those little blue pills (kidding). Good luck with whatever you decide but make sure they have blankets.
