although there is plenty of music everywhere, i always like to have my own music available to play in my room or by the pool as long as i am not too loud to disturb others. i dont mind hearing all of the sounds and music from other folks. it adds to party unless of course its still blaring when i am trying to sleep! i am old!

We always bring our speakers. Most people forget theirs and are happy when we show up with ours on the beach. Just be considerate on how loud and late you're playing music!

When we come to Negril, we like the "Roots" Reggae sounds...Bob, Toots, Jimmy Cliff ,Ziggy etc. Not to be too judgmental, but it seems over the last 5 to 6 years...there's too much hip hop gangsta rap music {if you can call it music}. The soothing Bob Marley music helps a person relax, and take life a likkle slower. Maybe I'm too old, just my opinion, so yeah passnthru....I'm gonna side with you, sorry Wife! Bring the great Reggae tunes for yourself. I don't think your going to be "blaring" your tunes enough to really bother people. I got a feeling you're old too. Definition of old is questionable though. Gosh I better wrap this up, before I really put my foot in my mouth {grin} My wife really really likes the steel drum Caribbean music.

I always bring some form of music with me, my tablet or just a small fm radio for irie fm, and do not mind others as long as it is not to loud. But please turn it way down and keep it in your room after 11:00 pm, us old folks don't party like we used to, and like to get up early.
