Seastar was the first webcast I went to. I was staying at Beaches with my son and took a taxi up in the dark. I had no idea where i was, and made the taxi wait for me as I was a little nervous.lol

I must've missed out on something. SeaStar isn't doing the Saturday night show for a while? If this is the case, when will they reopen?
I was hoping to go again when I'm in Negril in a month. I dont enjoy buffets but this one rocks!!
I walked from Catcha in the dark down Seastar Lane for my first Saturday night party at Seastar last March. I thought I would never get there. All I could see was orange embers off to the side of the road all the way there. Nervous, yes! I made it and had a great time. I had the shuttle drop me off at the end of the night.
CoolNegril, Thanks! I've been away from the Sat night casts for awhile and didn't know they were off for a while either.
September is probably a great time for the rennovations, being the height of hurricane season and probably very slow!
I've been to Seastar so many times since my first trip there in 2003, I can't count. It's such a great show/place!

Renovations for around a month, I heard the old stage is already gone, and in last weeks webcast you could see the gift shop is gone.

Too many wonderful memories. I remember when the stage that is being demolished was built. The cast used to be at the Bar and Rob and Lisa were set up near the stairs by the Hot Tub.
I'm guessin that Francine has finally convinced Chris to build the two story gift shop!!! LOL
Good Luck during construction, can't wait to see the NEW improved Seastar!!!
