    Yes, Mi Friend...

    Mi deh pon street again.

Just got back home last night from a 9 day trip and had one of my best trips, yet. I will be back later to post some pictures, but just wanted to leave you all with a few observations.

    - The weather this time of year is great! The rainy season is largely finished, but the temps are hot during the day and cooler in the evening.
    - Most places were open, after being freshened up during the off season. Canoe and Mi Yard look good. Pee Wee's was getting a new thatch roof and I saw Elvis at No Limit most nights, so not sure if they were open yet. Only a few places that I wanted to visit were closed, such as Spyda's Bar and and Hungry Lion.
    - On The Rocks has re-opened with more focus on the restaurant and less on the bar. Although they had a DJ the night we were there, we found the dining area on the water's edge to be comfortable. They have several cozy cabanas to eat in, which are very cool. We were the only ones there so we got to pick our own cabana. Not sure if there is a reservation process when it gets busy. The Jamaican menu (with a couple pasta dishes) was very good. They even had drink specials.
    - Believe the Hype - Pablo's is awesome!
    - Tony's Jerk Barrel (next to No Limit) has some of the best late night grub.

    More to come...

Looking forward to reading more! We've been talking about doing a November trip one of these years. Pablo's is on my list of places to try this February...sounds like it's a great breakfast spot.

Agreed on Pablo's. He's a good cook, and cheap. I'd say he's doing the best cooking in that immediate area, at least he was last we were there. Going back in a few weeks (had to move the date a bit), taking my dad and brother, the misses is staying home this time.

In between L&M Market and Samsara, across from the cliffs. Almost next door to Pressa's.

FYI, Pablo has tall glasses of sorrel drink for $200J. Do yourself a favor and get some!

Absolutely! And he opens up at 7am for the early birds.

He also stays open until 11pm.

Not only is Pablo's great food-breakfast, lunch or dinner and a great host. Behind his you will find my friend Keisha's new bar Hakuna Matata (means NO WORRIES). She opened in mid September and serves killer rum drinks, all type hard liquor cocktails, beers, juices, cigs, etc. Can order from HM while you dine at Pablo's or go there after eating, it is almost attached behind Pablo's. You will not be disappointed. NO WORRIES
