My 2014 trip report

Just Anna add a quick aside before I sleep for the last time on the island.

We went to Bourbon Beach today. I've had it in my head that this was just an entertainment spot (this, in spite of going across the street from it on average two times a trip at Times Square. Anyway, had their jerk chicken.

Jerk chicken is now ruined for me in any other spot. I had it this evening for dinner at the lodge, and ended up not eating it. Whatever they have in the sauce at bourbon beach... Literally made it the best I have EVER tasted.

Great to hear!!! What better place to turn your kids on to than Negril. I took my kids down first time when they were 7 & 9 (about 15 years ago) we landed in MoBay and traveled around the island by rental car, Runaway Bay, Kingston (visiting friends) and then South Coast to Negril for 10 days. Stayed at Rondel Village which at the time was only 4 cottages. Kids had a blast, Me too!!!!!

Our driver ate lunch with us, and took everyone's chicken bones home for his dogs. Another driver we went out with earlier in the week did the same thing after Chicken Lavish.
