My 2014 trip report

No matter where I took my kids they always wanted to come back to Jamaica......the oldest and new husband are heading there this week, second trip for both of them, and middle and her boyfriend are coming down with me in feb. her second trip and he has never been. Love to see my favorite place thru a newbies eyes lol. My youngest is also coming with in feb., her third trip.....she opted out of her class trip to come to Negril. Smart kid!

Accommodations for next year... Could not get the one I wanted, Tensing is booked so far out.

Is that Rock Cottage2? I think that would be a good one. I hear you about how far out they are booked. Tried to get our favorite over a year out and wasn't available. Tensing is a great place.

Rock 1. Rock 2 is taken by a regular guest every thanksgiving. Rock 1 just had ac installed, so we are gonna give it a shot. We got lucky grabbing red birch this year, apparently there is a couple that gets it each thanksgiving as well. We went the week before thanksgiving last year, and booked it then.

We recently booked Rock 1 for May. Figured we needed a/c in May and it was the best choice available. At least I hope it was a good choice! Stayed in Rock 2 years ago. We were booked for Cove Cottage starting tomorrow but had to cancel( postpone) its killing me to think that we'd be flying out tomorrow morning!

Cove cottage is awesome. It's next on the list to get AC. A boardie has it booked in perpetuity for thanksgiving week. Really, with the exception of Southhouse, it's hard to go wrong in that resort... And southhouse is not bad if you have it all, or know the folks in the other unit.
