BillnDonna -- we hit Negril after one of the storms went through, but no rain when we landed. We had a bit of turbulence, but nothing too crazy. Still, I think I am done with Tim Air til they get some new planes . We could see ia storm in the distance, and the main road was flooded in a number of spots on our way to Tensing. We used the driver we had all week to take us back to the airport, as he assured us no traffic. i think all of my Sunday departures will be with Club Mobay. Livingthedream (another boardie) texted me from the airport as they were leaving today, and it was not crowded, they also had Club Mobay.

We got there one time for departure and were delayed for several hours - as were a lot of other people! we tried to get into Club Mobay and they were over booked and not taking any more people. I guess it might depend on what has been happening up here the past days. Snowstorms!

I booked it for arrival this past Saturday. My greeter took my carryon/personal item, nice. The lines for immigration weren't bad (for someone not using Club Mobay), but luggage was delayed halfway through, that added 20 minutes. By that time Customs lines were backed up to the carousels and we moved to the front of an express line. The lounge was 'okay'. Snack sandwiches were mostly bread; the shredded jerk pork was tasty. It sounded like only Red Stripe, another beer and Rum punch were the alcohol drinks. I had the punch, it was 'okay'; also available to go. The lounge was a comfortable wait until my ride was ready. The staff were pleasant. I was there about an hour, 15-20 people came through the lounge.

I've used it both ways...needed to be expedited to make a bus connection coming in and a comfortable way to ease out of jamaica. Now use wheelchair on arrival...just as quick and cheaper!

I just booked it for our arrival after looking at this Thursdays flights and seeing 4 other plans scheduled within a half hour of ours I decided it was worth it! And if it turns out that we didn't need it, oh well - I'm sure I have wasted 100 bucks in worse ways and the clean bathroom and a cold drink will still be worth it!

Same here. My wife is a former prosecutor and has put people in prison for life. Obviously, I'm not going to argue with her.

Could someone give me the site addy for Club MoBay. I did a search but all it showed were the amenities and not how to book the "get me through here". The price quoted was $30 but I'm sure that was only to use the facilities. Thanks.
