    Christmas in Negril

We've never spent Christmas week in Negril so I was just wondering are most places closed? Any special happenings?

I think all the bars and restaurants are open. Hilo and Valuemaster usually close at 3:00 pm Christmas Eve and reopen after Boxing Day (Dec. 27). I think the Chinamon store is open through the holidays and the Shamrock on the beach road.

I think there was another post regarding this, but in my experience most places are open. BUT, obviously banks, cambio's and bigger grocery stores close. The smaller stores on the cliffs were open. Don't forget the day after Christmas, Boxing day...also banks, etc. close. Also, be sure and have some cash before these days since the ATM's are sometimes "money finish" ! Hope to see you down there.
