I think there was another post regarding this, but in my experience most places are open. BUT, obviously banks, cambio's and bigger grocery stores close. The smaller stores on the cliffs were open. Don't forget the day after Christmas, Boxing day...also banks, etc. close. Also, be sure and have some cash before these days since the ATM's are sometimes "money finish" ! Forgive me for being "clueless" about this BUT what is "boxing day"?
