All Royal Kitchen fans....please note that the infamous Errol is re-opening Royal! It is behind the original Royal Kitchens...not the second Royal where Pablos is currently. I visited him today for several hours and it was wonderful to visit and nyam some fresh ital. As usual, his juices are all fresh as well as some great sorrell.
If you are not familiar with the location of the first RK, if you are headed from west end to town....past Samsara just before Croten rooms and L&M, on the right. He is open most of the time..not sure of exact hours. I do know he makes some of the best cornmeal porridge that I have ever tasted and he also has peanut porridge on breakfast menu. I adore his ackee, no saltfish, and not squished up ackee...nice pods!!! Great veg, callaloo, stew, etc. Plus, he truly is a great man with a wonderul gentle soul.
Enjoy! He also has a collection of ole school sounds from Sam Cooke to Marvin Gaye, plus other classics and reggae.
