Mini trip report- day 2 and 3

Lots of lounging at the beach the past few days,,,,,sand gravity is REALLY in full force this trip! Walked 11000 miles on day 2 and 15000 on day 3 per my Fitbit... My health insurance company will love me! Unfortunately, most was on our daily walk and personal pub crawls, along with hikes to dinners......

Met some boardies at our hotel- Weatherman and Mi Lady. Nice people! Always good to put faces and names together!
These several days can best be summed up with the caption "Trying new things". After many trips to Negril, we seem to hit the same places, and have our same favorites. We tried hard to find new places through the board, tripadvisor and by word of mouth on days 2/3. Here is what we found, in random order:
Qualitiy's Seafood- a must stop if you want fresh fish. Seriously an up and conning chef- my fish pasta was simply outstanding! And a charming man to boot. This is one really great meal! Requested red snapper and pasta- he created an amazing dish. Presentation 5 stars. Taste 5 stars. Loved this!
Colette's Bar- off the beaten path. Friendly and welcoming. Lots of locals that did not mind us tourists- very friendly but small spot. How often can you buy the bar a round?! So we did. Great little find.
Cosmos- on our afternoon walk, we headed toward the AIs. Always heard of Cosmos- never been there before. Walking through the sea'of AI hotels, man those are big! Cosmos is a small bar-restaurant tucked in the middle. Almost reminded me of a beach club like you find in MX. Friendly place, many locals. Did not eat there but the bartenders were friendly and on the ball. Can now say we have been there!
Red Dragon- tried to go for pork. Note: GO EARLY! The locals laughed at us showing up at 6 pm. Pork was long gone. Friendly folks though that directed us back to the main road.
Times Square- never been there so popped in today to say we did it. Actually had a small shop that traded money for us at 112/1 ratio. Not bad considering cambios are closed. I will say that I watched some teenage bad behavior there toward the bartender in the kiosk bar. Not often do I apologize for North American behavior, but I did today. Mental note: remind my 20 something children to always treat everyone with the utmost respect, especially when you are a guest in their country. Hoping my children would never behave like this (belittling a bartender as she did not have their favorite American brand of GIN?!), but worth noting. I hate seeing bad behavior.
Also hit our usual favorite spots....Tony's, Barry's, Yellow Bird, etc etc etc.
It is good to try new things. Today, the sand gravity seems to be hitting again. Hoping to try another "new place" tonight. Preferably on the beach as tomorrow we move to cliff land.
Open to suggestions if anyone has them!
Continued big ups for Rayon.....liking this place more every day. Ms. Pansy continues to be a classy lady with amazing business sense! We will be returning here for sure!
Pictures coming at a later date.....thanks for letting me ramble!
