Every time I have been to Negril , I miss Tarrus and have yet to see his show, no dates posted on FB , so I'm asking if you know if there are any dates for Negril in February, please.

is there any ongoing shows happening these days at a particular venue. we saw John Holt A few years back on the cliffs and it was an ongoing concert series
Thanks Bnewb I will keep my fingers crossed ....
ever since Mr Wallace went back to college, nobody else seems to be ready to book the shows on the cliffs or anywhere in negril really. The rockhouse has some great shows, but not on any regular basis. I hope when Mr Wallace comes home, he will still be interested in bringing shows back.
Time flies, I think the jungle series was in 2012
To go on, the shows at the escape were by far my favorite. The shows I saw there were the best I've ever been to. But last I asked him about this, he said the insurance had become impossible, because of all the cliff edge hat didn't have high enough safety fence for large events. He claimed at that time there would be no more shows there.
Been a over a year, I believe he is in Wales working on his masters or phd, not that I am close to him, but mr Carey is a very nice man, never fails to come say hello when I see him around. He put on the last concert series at the Jungle, when beres, and tarrus, and a bunch of other acts had a Tuesday concert at the jungle, he also was behind the concert series at the escape years previous
The music in Negril has been dramatically reduced long before Mr. Wallace went to college. When Negril had spring break, there were many great shows, Yellowman just to name one. Alfreds used to have big shows but the smaller frontage plus the all inclusives may have had an impact. For those of us going back to the 80s...it just ain't the same amount of music.
