I have fished off Negril (Rod & Reel) on several occasions many years ago. Best result was two 5 lb Bonita's. Marlin Fishing in Jamaica is generally done over Ocho Rios way where the water is really deep. They used to have a yearly tournament with some world class fishing boats. Not sure if it was a private gig or if there were charter opportunities. Treasure Beach is another area where big fish are caught mostly kingfish, wahoo, dolphin, tuna and occasionally billfish.
